Emergency Dental Care
Here when you need us most
Dental emergencies can be overwhelming—but you don’t have to go through them alone. Whether you’re in pain, have a broken tooth or something just doesn’t feel right, Perinton Dental Group is here to help you feel better and restore your smile as quickly as possible.

Urgent care that puts your comfort first
Don’t wait—getting care now could make all the difference in helping to save your tooth and relieve your pain.
We treat a wide range of dental emergencies, including:
Toothaches and Sudden Pain
If you’re experiencing persistent or severe tooth pain, it may be a sign of infection, decay, or damage to the tooth. We’ll assess the cause and provide relief as soon as possible, whether that involves a filling, root canal, or other treatment.
Chipped or Broken Teeth
Accidents happen—especially during sports or while eating hard foods. A chipped or fractured tooth may need bonding, a crown, or other restorative treatment to help prevent further damage and restore its appearance.
Knocked-Out Tooth
Timing is everything when a tooth gets knocked out. If handled quickly and properly, we may be able to preserve it. Insert it back into the socket, if possible, without touching the root. If you cannot do that, store the tooth in milk and call our Perinton Dental Group team in Fairport right away.
Lost or Damaged Fillings, Crowns, or Bridges
If a restoration becomes loose or falls out, don’t wait. Exposed areas can become sensitive or infected. We’ll assess the damage and repair or replace the restoration as needed.
Gum or Jaw Swelling
Swelling in the gums, face, or jaw could indicate an abscess or infection that requires immediate attention. We’ll examine the area and provide the appropriate care to get you back on track.
If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies as a dental emergency, don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s always better to be safe and get peace of mind. When you call our office, our experienced Perinton Dental Group team will guide you through the next steps and schedule you for the earliest available appointment—often the same day.
