Sometimes, teeth can’t be saved. They may have been badly broken by a traumatic event or extensively decayed due to the lack of dental care and hygiene. In these cases, we will extract them when it’s necessary for surgery purposes; such as removing an infected tooth that is too close to other healthy ones in order not to spread any more bacteria into your mouth. We only do this procedure if absolutely necessary because extraction should always be a last resort after trying everything else first!

Digital x-rays are safer as they use less radiation than traditional x-rays and more convenient as they can be taken in a matter of moments and viewed alongside the doctor, right from the dental chair. Digital x-rays give us a faster, more accurate picture of what’s going on below the surface in your mouth. The best thing about intraoral cameras, however, is they let patients see what we see.
